A Full Course of Treatment
I take a non-invasive approach to providing your animal with immediate relief from pain while working towards a pain-free future. Upon your veterinarian’s referral, I use the McTimoney Animal Therapy method to carry out an initial consultation to determine the appropriate course of therapy for your animal, including:
- Reviewing your animal’s full medical history
- Performing a gait assessment to identify any movement difficulties
- Completing a physical assessment to check for muscle tightness, unevenness and spinal and pelvic alignment
- Administering a McTimoney chiropractic*-style treatment
- Recommending a course of follow-up treatments, if necessary, geared toward your animal’s specific needs
- Discuss what you can do to help keep your animal comfortable
Follow-Up Appointments
Your animal’s long-term freedom of movement and relief from pain may require an integrated, customised course of treatments. I will design a therapy programme that will provide your animal with the best comprehensive care for long-term health, including:
- Treatment review and assessment of your animal’s recent progress
- Gait assessment to evaluate ongoing movement difficulties
- Assessment of muscle tightness, unevenness, spinal and/or pelvic misalignments
- McTimoney chiropractic*-style treatment
- After-care maintenance programme
- Free after-care advice
