Covid-19 Guidlines: Canine Chiropractors

I can finally return to work as an Canine Chiropractor!! There are, however, some strict guidelines that I will need everyone to abide by as safety is my top priority. When you book a treatment with me I will also email a copy of the guidelines over to you so please do follow them. Please note, I am only able to treat dogs OUTSIDE and will not be able to enter your home. The Covid-19 outbreak is far from over so lets stay safe whilst allowing your dogs to benefit from a much needed treatment. I will ensure I follow guidelines laid out by the McTimoney Animal Association and Holistic Insurance.

Guidelines for Covid-19

What I need you to do

1. I will call you before the appointment to take notes of any current problems and fill my record card to ensure I am on your premises for the minimum amount of time.

2. I will perform a health and safety assessment before I visit you. Please ensure you follow any extra safety measures I might need to put in place.

3. If there are gates can you please open and close them for me.

4. I am currently only able to work OUTSIDE or in a well ventilated area. I will discuss with you before hand where might be suitable and please have this area ready for me when I arrive.

5. I will no longer be able to accept cups of tea and will try to keep chat to a minimum.

6. I am still happy for you to watch the treatment but please stay the recommended 2m distance.

7. Please let me know if you are self-shielding as I have a limited amount of PPE.

8. Please provide a bucket of warm water and soap for me to wash my hands with after the treatment as I will be unable to enter your house.

9. I will write my followup notes in my car and email them to you. Please call me if you have any questions.

10. PAYMENT. if you are paying with BACS please send the money on the day of the treatment. I can also do contactless card payments on the day providing I have 4G internet.

What I will do

1. I will ensure my hands and my clothing are clean when I enter your premises.

2. I will disinfect my boots and equipment between premises.

3. I will wash my hands thoroughly between dogs on the same premises.

4. I will (reluctantly) refuse all cups of tea.

5. I will not touch any surfaces.
